Lesson Description
Feel the rhythm. Feel the rhyme. Get on up, it's Live Lesson time. This week's lesson is all about embellishing rhythm with different techniques. Aldrine answers questions about pinky mutes and chunking, and demonstrates an exercise to improve pinky mute timing. Aaron suggests a shift in thinking to help with timing; focus less on the mute and more on getting the pinky out of the way to let the chord ring out. Kahai talks about the importance of feeling the rhythm instead of thinking about it. We also take a dive into the deep end of music theory before wrapping up the lesson with a well deserved giveaway winner.
