This week, Aldrine illustrates how to switch chords smoothly using the upbeat for both strumming and finger picking. He talks about various ways to transpose songs using moveable chord shapes, the chromatic scale, and chord families. We discuss uncommon chord shapes and chord voicing. For this week's challenge, we cover how to improve picking dynamics, and why it's important. Lastly, Aldrine demonstrates how to transition between strumming and finger picking with minimal movement of the strumming arm.
