  1. Excellent series of lessons. I am really enjoying watching each video & learning all these tips & tricks.

What song(s) would you recommend to try out with the hammer on/ pull off etc?

    1. Hey Lvb,

Matt answered your question in this week’s Thursday Live Lesson. He briefly answered it at 14:20, and talks about it again at 36:05. Thanks for the question, if you have any more, feel free to ask away.

  2. Hi Matt. Thankyou for such a great series. Ive only been playing for about a year and was floundering for direction on my own. I only joined UU 2 days ago, and have learned so much in such a short time. After joining, I had a quick look through the list of tutorials, and your most recent video was the first one that caught my eye…., I tried it and loved it and so went back to number 1 and working my way through.. Its awesome. I havent been this excited to play since I got my Uke a year ago. Keep up the great work. Its much appreciated. πŸ™‚

  3. Loved this lesson! I learned so much in such a short time! These are techniques I’ve been trying to figure out for a while and your instructions are so clear and concise I was hammering on and off pretty well before the end of the lesson! Thanks so much! Now, back to practicing Jingle Bell Rock!

  4. Hey Matt,

Great lesson! I have a few requests for future webcams sessions:

Some ideas/samples for just noodling around on the Uke. Not necessarily playing anything specific, but putting chords together with some finger picking that sounds cool and is fun to do.

Song examples of using the techniques you went over today.

    Thanks again.
