Bonus Bridge:

In this whiteboard request, Aldrine teaches you how to play "Rainbow Connection" from the 1979 film The Muppet Movie. Don't let the origins of this song fool you, "Rainbow Connection" is played in 2 keys (A and Bb) with a total of 12 different chords. Thankfully, the song has a simple strumming pattern in 3/4 time. Aldrine covers all of this as well as an optional fingerpicking pattern that can serve as an intro to the song. He also explains how you can play in just one key, cutting the chord load in half. If you want to stick closer to the original, Aldrine shows you a bridge that will transition the song from the key of A to Bb. The only thing that missing is a talking frog.

  1. Great song and a great lesson. Oone question; there is short bridge to verse 3. Any hints on what chords go with that?

  2. One of my favorite songs and a great lesson. Mahalo. I do have one question…what chord would I use to modulate from Key of A to Key of B flat?
