1. Aloha Aldrine. I am from Long Island New York and am presently staying at the Marriott Beach Resort on Kauai, Hawaii. Tomorrow morning I will be having my first ukulele experience / lesson. After watching a couple of your beginners’ videos, I am psyched. Mahalo. – Tom

  3. hi im just new here, i wanted to learn how to play the uke, but still confused of wc to buy. is the soprano uke is the standard? what kind of uke are you using in your vids?
many thanks! keep up the good work!

  4. Your lessons are GREAT!
However I do not have a Ukulele
Can you tell me where I can purchase
    One? A Komra? Like your.

    1. There could be a couple of reasons for this,
case 1. If the strings sound muted and don’t seem to be vibrating, that means some of your fingers are touching strings they aren’t supposed to be. play each string individually and you’ll quickly see if any of the strings are being muted. If they are work to position your fingers so that each string can ring out.
case 2. it could be the ukulele is not playable. This is rather rare but happens in cheaper instruments ( < $50). Unfortunately the only fix for this is to buy a better ukulele. hope that helps.

  5. Thank you so much. No one teaches ukulele in Mpls MN and I’m just getting into it. Will be joining soon.

Testing out you lesson videos first. So far they are awesome!!!!!!!!
