    I just recorded this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WobOP8Xkg9w

    Serendipity.

I teach an edtech class and a lot of my College students want to make unboxing videos. Figured give it a whirl (ignore rhythm, fundemental and tuning mistakes)

I started here and watched all the videos as I would rather spend dollars in the community but all the stores recommended in the videos are open (tip to moderators build an affiliate link page or just places we should spend money)

I am just a beginner myself and I really liked the Cordoba and now the Luna High Tide I am learning. It is so cool to feel the different sounds.

So you can’t make the wrong choice. You’ll choose the sound you need.

Best part I used my ukulele in marketing videos (and this video is for class). So now it’s an expense.

I played Bass before moving to ukulele (with a 20 year break in between). It was a 6 string sound gear,

I want a U-Bass sooo bad since I playing along to Stand By Me.

    You did a wonderful job.

Glad I am on not the only one who needs to spend more time on holding the ukulele rather than playing the ukulele.

My attempt at Lesson A https://jgregorymcverry.com/2020-01-10Uke101Ls5ExA.mov

Still a little slow and fell off the beat but another good exercise to get you used to moving up and down the fret.

    Kayak Matt,

Not sure what sound I am going for as long as it becomes mine.

Funny you mention chunking as that is what I am working on now. Playing around with https://ukuleleunderground.com/2013/05/uke-lesson-66-what-i-got-sublime/ and then found the chunking lesson.

If you listen to any of the live jam sessions the crew uses all the percussive techniques.

Not sure if I am doing chunking right I checked out the chunking tutorial and trying to hear the difference between chunking and muting. The quarter count of th

Really I needed to go back to Uke 100 and 101 and erase a lot of bad habits I picked up fooling around on my own.

This strum pattern been good practice for feeling the chunk….got me dancing Truffle Shuffle

Welcome James, I am just learning the ukelele. I started back in March.

Spent some time evaluating communities to join and picked this one because I like the vibe of the jam sessions
