sixsixty,
Great video with your daughter! Looks like you’re creating some great musical memories with her. Thanks for the motivation. I have been very busy with work and haven’t had much free time……I thought that was a valid excuse…… not anymore….. you have a new child, and you still were able to post a video! Good on ya! Thanks for the motivation.
Nice work everyone!!! I’m 4 episodes behind, trying to catch up. Kevin, your first attempt writing a song? Nice job. I thought the lyrics were fantastic!
Alan,
Really liked that one. I don’t know what it is about you songs but I always get images when I listen to them. Here in Canada we have something called May Day, which is basically a celebration and a parade and kids dancing the May Pole dance (hard to explain but if you look it up you’ll see it) anyways….. I had images of that day when I was a child. Thanks for the trip down memory lane….
also, love the shirt.

Alan, that sounds pretty perfect.
On a side Note, Alan are you performing at the Denver uke fest?
It would be great to see some video footage of any UU+ players or Aldrine, or any players that the 3 of you talk about on the Live lesson…..
…..and I love the slide…
Congratulations. Sixsixty!!! I think that’s amazing that you still did the challenge.
Hey Alan,
Some images that came to me when I was listening to it were….. silent comedy western. The scene is a duo. Two male cowboys. One of them is a smarter feller and the other is a not so smart feller..you know.. a typical comedy duo….Where the smarter guy is trying to show the other guy how to accomplish a task. They go back and forth and the not so smart guy just can’t get it right and the smarter guy gets more and more frustrated…..then near the end the smarter guys does it with him and the not so smart guy finally gets it… it’s all good at the end and everything is resolved.
Alan, these are great!! 3 different songs 2 different instruments!! Nice work!! I really liked the last one, I think I connected to it in a different way, it reminded me of a score running under a scene in a movie. Very cool!
Hey Renee,
Thanks so much. You’ve all inspired me to start posting videos. This is the perfect place to take risks. Lots of support in UU plus.
Thanks Kahai! I had a lot of fun with it. I feel if I wait too long to do it, it may not get done.
I had some time on the weekend. I’m really having a lot of fun with these….
Just created a YouTube page to make it easier to post videos. Just working out the kinks to see how to post them……
Absolutely great!!!! Thanks for sharing everyone!
Thank you for posting your songs, it’s very motivating. Really great stuff!! Daniel, nice use of the Pinky mute, I totally forgot about that technique. It’s perfect for Reggae.
Ok thanks ourmaninjapan, about the chunks and video. If I do another video challenge I’ll try YouTube.
