    Hello all!

My name is Alex and I was wondering if someone knows why the hawaiian ukulele has a high G string configuration instead of a Low G?

Over the years I have seen players use low G and I prefer it but I am wondering the historical context?

Please someone staff members, teachers or fellow students please let me know!
