    Uke 101 – Week 7 – Chords, Chords, Chords

This week we learned some new chords. Three pairs of them, plus a bonus chord. Bm7, C#m7, – A, E7 – F#m, D

The homework was to practice chord progressions using these chords, and several progressions were displayed on the whiteboard:

    A, F#m, Bm
    A, F#m, D
    D, A, Bm
    F#m, Bm, C#m, Bm
    A, F#m, D, E7
    A, C#m, Bm, E7

The second part of the homework was to practice some progressions using the new chords with some of the old ones. I chose to use the chords from:

    Brown-Eyed Girl – G,C,G,D
    Most Country/Western Songs:- A,D,E7
    Wonderful Tonight – G, Bm7, C, D – C-D – G, Bm7, Em

Week 7 homework submission for feedback. Thanks. Lisee

Good job! Chords are coming out nice and clean. I’m glad you’re using the progressions and associating them with songs. Love that you also sang the chords. Keep it up!

The roll is coming out nicely. Good exaggeration makes that roll stand out a bit more so awesome job. Just make sure the roll doesn’t take up too much time that it might make you late on the next strum. Chord progressions look clean. Keep up the good work!
