    Glad to see you being consistent with your practices and uploads. You’re taking it at your own pace.
    The feel on that fingerpicking is pretty good. Make sure you keep it going. The stops in between the chords stops the groove and loses the feel. The second verse was better and you kept the fingerpicking going. Doing great man!

    Aloha Farshad!
    The homework looks great! You’re pretty spot on with the metronome and the transition from fingerpicking to strumming is nice and clean. Try and doing the same exercises but try and mixing up the chords. Try it in the key of F for example so that you can work on getting those finger picking and transitions with a bar chord (Bb). Use F, Bb, and C for your three chords. You can also try A, Bm, and E. Keep up the great work!

    I really enjoyed this Week 4 lesson! Rolls and fingerpicking are great fun!
    I shot these videos outside, it’s 38 degrees out. So I’m using the temperature as my excuse as to why I didn’t play my best! LOL

    In both of the videos, I notice I’m struggling to strum higher on the neck. I think it’s because I’ve had a year of playing over the soundhole and I’m finding it hard to change where I strum. To my ears there’s no difference. My wife agrees, she teaches piano and guitar. She says there’s more of a sound difference with the smaller concert and soprano ukes. I’m going to continue to try to strum higher however.

    Part 1: Chords: C, C7, F, G7
    Fingerpicking with thump and pinky, CEGA pattern.

    Part 2: Chords: C, Am, F, G7
    Fingerpicking with TPM fingers. CEGA pattern.
