Let’s say we have a song in the key of C and it is a I, IV, V song also using F and G chords. In general, while soloing, do you play the C scale notes while playing C chord, F scale notes (using Bb) while playing F chord, and G scale notes (using F#) with G chord, OR always use C scale notes for all 3 chords avoiding the F while playing G chord (because of the F# in the G scale) and avoid B while playing the F chord (because of the Bb in the F scale)?
