Hi guys,

I recently invited my neighbor who plays uke and guitar over to play together. Neither of us has any experience playing with another person. We’re both roughly at the same level – 4-6 years of experience – though he has more theory under his belt and knows his fretboard better than I do.

Any suggestions for how to start jamming and playing together? He came over and we did a little 12-bar blues and played a couple of songs that allow for improv. Do you have other tips for how to start becoming ukulele BFFs?
