I have a baritone uke. I know many chords but don’t know how to strum and my picking us limited to a simple banjo roll. Nowhere to go but up from here.
Hey Dawn, I also started playing baritone about 6 months ago. You’re strumming will get there. On baritone strumming with the meatier part of your thumb makes it sound very mellow. Great for jazz chords. You can find picking patterns online. I also recently changed out my string set. It made all the difference in sound quality. I don’t know if I am allowed to tell you on this forum what brand of strings or not. Simple picking with the chords is always fun. Picking Hallelujah with Aldrine’s play along sounds really nice on baritone. Nice to hear someone else is giving the baritone some love!
