MemberI’m a recent transplant from Dallas to Viera, FL. On the Atlantic side of FL between Cocoa Beach and Melbourne. I’ve owned an Ukulele for about 5 years but never got past learning a few chords and playing from Fake Books. I’m also a mediocre guitar player. Now I’m looking to get serious since I have some free time on my hands, and the more I play the uke more addicted I become.
I’ve also got a beginner’s case of UAS – Ukulele Acquisition Syndrome. I’ have eleven now, but to be fair, my daughter and niece also play them (and they’re both better than me – but not for long – mu-a-ha-ha!)
My father’s half Hawai’ian and I have a lot of extended family scattered across the islands. I’ve only met a few but I’m hoping to take a few weeks off later this year and do a better job of getting to know them.
I’m looking forward to (virtually) meeting everyone on the boards, Open Mics and Jams.

If your on Facebook send me a friend request I’m not hard to find just search Joe Pringle and Ill be the one with my Grandson on his lap with the Abstract Guitar painting in the background. Rock on and Inner Peace to You.

MemberHey Steve,
you were awesome on the open mic. Joe, if you see this too, you also did a fantastic job. I’m so excited to have you guys as UU+ members.
Steve, if you ever come down to Hawaii, and more specifically Kauai, please let us know. We would love to meet you in person, and hang out. Keep on rocking guys, and hopefully we’ll see you on the next open mic or live event.
Aloha,

MemberThanks Kahai – I make take you up on that. I have a lot of family on Uncle Merlin’s side up in your area. My Auntie Barbara keeps on me that I have to get to know them better. The few times I got out to Hawaii, I was usually on the Big Island because my (ex-)sister-in-law was there (free place to stay!) Now I have even more incentive to get up to Kauai!
You guys are great. I’m having a blast slowly taking my playing to the next level – I’ve been a Fake Book strummer for far too long.
