Hey UUers!

It's finally here! It's May and at the end of this month, the long awaited Bob's Burgers Movie is set to premiere. Aldrine has been a long time fan of the show so in celebration, we're bringing you a brand new Uke Lessons episode on how to play (the complete) Bob's Burgers Theme Song on Ukulele!

The full-length version of the Bob's Burgers Theme Song was released on the Bob's Burgers Music Album, so we show you how to play the entire thing on ukulele here. But if you've only heard the 20-second intro from the show, simply learn Section A + Interlude below and you're good to go. Onward, to the tutorial!

STEP 1 - Section A + Interlude

Begin by learning these chords:

Bob's Burgers Theme Ukulele Chords - Section A
D6(2222), D(2225), A(2100), Aadd9(2102), F#m(2124), A7(0100), A7add9(0102), A7(0104)

The chords are grouped into boxes with chord headings above them. This is because you'll be switching between the chords in each box when the headings are illuminated during the Play-Along. Be sure to learn these chords and get comfortable switching between them, especially between the chords in each of the blue boxes. Play around with them in relative order and you can already hear the intro.

After repeating Section A, the song uses these 2 chords as an Interlude:

Bob's Burgers Theme - Interlude Chords
G(0232), Cm6(2333)

For the Interlude, simply play G for two measures and Cm6 for two measures alternating between them twice. Be sure to watch the video above for more information on how to play and strum these chords, but that's pretty much it! If you're only familiar with the intro that plays at the beginning of each Bob's Burgers episode, you have everything you need to play it.

Practice the chords and when you're ready, try playing along with the Bob's Burgers Theme Ukulele Play-Along at the top of the page. If you would like to learn the rest of the complete Bob's Burgers Theme Song, continue on to Step 2:

STEP 2 - Section B

Next up, the song changes keys. Learn these new chords so you can play Section B:

Bob's Burgers Theme Ukulele Chords - Section B
E6(4444), E(4447), B6/9(4344), D(2225), Dmaj7(2224), D6(2222), A6/9(2122)

Again, learn the chords and get comfortable switching between them, especially the chords within each of the blue boxes. The rhythm here is very similar to the rhythm in Section A, so you should be able to get this down pretty easily by adding emphasis where necessary.

Once you've got these new chords under your belt, test them out by playing along with the Bob's Burgers Theme Ukulele Play-Along at the top of the page. We've got one more set of chords to end the song, so head over to Step 3 below to check them out:

STEP 3 - Section C

Finally, you'll need one more set of chords to play Section C:

Bob's Burgers Theme Ukulele Chords - Section C
E6(4444), E(4447), F#m7(9999), G(77710), Gmaj7(7779), G6(7777), D6/9(7677)

Luckily, you've learned all of these chord shapes already, so it's just a matter of putting them on the right frets. Same thing applies for this set of chords, so be sure to play around with switching between the chords in each of the blue boxes.

Work on each of the sets of chords (Section A, B, C, and Interlude) by themselves, then try stringing them all together. Play along with the Bob's Burgers Theme Ukulele Play-Along at the top of the page and use a quick strumming rhythm to keep up. Awesome job! You just played the complete Bob's Burgers Theme Song on ukulele.

Be sure to memorize the changes so you can impress your family and friends! If you like this, be sure to check out the rest of our Lessons for songs from TV Shows, including "Everything Stays" from Adventure Time.
