Learn to play an easy version of "Opihi Man" by Ka'au Crater Boys on Ukulele
This time on Songs Made Easy, we're teaching you how to play "Opihi Man" by Ka'au Crater Boys. This is a classic local tune for us here in Hawaii. The song itself uses 6 easy chord in the key of G. While the chord progression is a little trickier than usual, Aldrine shows you how to do all the transitions efficiently.
The good news: you can play along with the Ka'au Crater Boys using these exact chords. Just a heads up, the original recording of this song is fast. Those chord switches come quickly, and you'll have to piece together some parts of the chord progression to follow along with their turnarounds. But it is doable!
While we don't have a full lesson on this song, is it a favorite on our Aloha Friday Jams. If you want to challenge yourself with a slightly harder strumming pattern and a quicker tempo, check out this Jam Replay.
