This month's Whiteboard Request teaches you how to play the 1967 hit song "Happy Together" by the Tutrles. Over the years, the band evolved and changed. Their musical focus and style changed with the progressing trends, and members of the band came and went. Even the name of the band morphed numerous times, going from the Nightriders to the Crossfires to the Tyrtles and eventually settling on the Turtles. But their song "Happy Together" remains a fixture in popular culture. It's been featured in countless movies and TV shows, such as Cool Hand Luke, Deliverance, Wayne's World, Heat, Blood Diamond, 27 Dresses, and Mad Max: Fury Road just to name a few.

The song itself uses 7 different chords, alternating between minor verses and a major chorus. Aldrine shares some tips for forming the trickier chords and shows you a simple strumming pattern. He also teaches you a picking pattern that follows the melody line of the chorus.
