Experimenting, Exploration, and Workarounds
On this week's Thursday Live Lesson, the UU guys talk about experimenting, exploration, and workarounds. While answering a question about the fingerpicking in "Guava Jam", Aldrine describes his own through process when he began learning the song. This interesting look into the inner workings of his musical mind, serves as a launching pad for the rest of the lesson. The guys discuss overcoming challenges by experimenting and finding what works best for you. They take a little detour into the world of magic and illusions, before returning back to self exploration and making mistakes. Aldrine, Aaron, and Kahai each share some of their own musical challenges and their approach to working around or through them.
