Hey UUers!

It's the 1st day of a brand new month and that means a fresh NEW episode of Uke Lessons! This month, we dug deep just for you and put together a song that recently, everyone has been asking about - "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz! The song has only been out for a short while, but already it has gotten a LOT of buzz (no doubt, this Mraz character is going to make it big one day). Aldrine just did a quick cover of the song, posted on a new website called YouTube.com, and it has been viewed over 250 times so far!

Check out the lesson and let us know what you think. We've got some really awesome stuff coming up this month, so stay tuned! Hope your day is spectacular!

*Note* This was posted as an April Fool's joke on 4/1/10. Aldrine's lesson of "I'm Yours" is no longer online (the rights to the lesson are owned by another website). For a list of all official UU Uke Lessons, check out the Uke Lessons section! Mahalo!

  1. Aldrine, I cannot learn the lesson on on my computer. It says that iamhawaii.com does not exist. I really like your version of the song and would like to learn it. Please Help!!!

  2. Aldrine, is this an April Fools joke? I would really love to learn this song, but it isn't posted any longer! Please don't tell me that you've been messing with me this whole time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! πŸ™‚

  3. Hey Aldrine….I love the way you sing this song. Really appreciate this. I think its going to take me a while to learn all the stuff…but what inspiration. I just want to check …I am not sure if its April fools but the illustration for the chords that comes up on the screen doesn't seem to match what you're demonstrating…like the first chord …I think you play B maj and the fingering shows B minor. Is it a trick? Are the other chords okay?

  4. aldrine, i am having a lot of problems with the muting portion….i have smaller hands and can not mute w/out messing with the rest of the cords….do you have any advice on how i can fix this?? there was a video featured on youtube and he also learned from you, his muting technique was lifting the cords….looked easier but when i tried it, it still sounded funny….also i wanna say, bec of you i love my uke!!! you're inspirational and hope to see play live one day when ur in the cali area again….
    thanks a mil….

  5. On my computer I cannot watch the lesson on this webpage. It send me to iamhawaii. Also, in the earlier videos not on iamhawaii, the chords would be easier to follow. On the new website, the chord would not stay up as long, and would not say what fret the chord is on, if it was on a higher fret.
