In August we held the UU “Ambassadors of Ukulele” Give-Away Contest where we asked you to email in the ways they would use a brand new KoAloha Tenor Ukulele and a full year membership to UU+ to spread the joy of ukulele. 500 emails later and after over two months of deliberation, we finally chose our winner! (Check out the video above to find out who!)

Thank you so much to everyone who entered – there were so many great entries and we had the hardest time choosing, but don’t fret – there will be more UU ukulele give-aways coming up soon. In just a few weeks, UU and Aldrine will be heading to Oregon & Washington to play shows, teach ukulele workshops, & meet up and jam with YOU! So if you’re going to be in the area, be sure to come out, bring your uke, and jam with UU!

Tour Dates:

Good news, everyone! It has been awhile since the last Ukulele Underground give-away contest, so here we go again – This time we are giving you a chance to win a brand new KoAloha KTM-00 Tenor Uke along with a YEAR membership for UU+!

The August 2011 UU “Ambassadors of Ukulele” Contest hopes to inspire everyone to share the joy of ukulele with others, so for this contest, here’s what you have to do:

1. Send an email to ukuleleunderground(at)gmail.com with “Ambassadors of Ukulele Contest” in the Subject line.
2. Explain how you will use your new KoAloha Uke and one year membership to UU+ to spread the joy of ukulele.

Extra points & consideration will be given for creativity, honesty, and enthusiasm!

Alternately, you may nominate another worthy ukulele player by describing what they do to spread the joy of ukulele why they deserve to win the Ambassadors of Ukulele Contest.

The UU vault has been opened! For the past two years, Ukulele Underground has been creating and teaching complete ukulele courses, from beginner to advanced, streaming live for Ukulele Underground University students. It took a lot of time and effort to create, so this premium instruction was only available at a premium price.

But the mission of Ukulele Underground has always been to spread the joy of the ukulele to everyone willing to learn – to grow the next generation of ukulele players.
