		<description>The issue with geared (I heard) is that they are heavier than friction tuners. So if you have a small light soprano ukulele, the geared tuners might make the head quite heavy throwing off the balance of the instrument. I have a tenor and there&#039;s no issue there - So always geared. The next decision is whether open grover tuners are much better than the closed tuners and chinese tuners that makes like Kala use?</description>
