Thanks Aldrine. I knew it was harmonics of some sort. Thought it might have been false harmonics.
A question, if you’ve got a minute. I work with a fabulous artist and I’m going to commission her to paint up a uke—probably a cheaper but playable soprano. Anyway, I’m looking for ideas. I was thinking of an orchid on the tuning face plate, a couple of orchids on the soundboard, a lei around the sides and a map of Hawaii (a la Kanile’a) on the back. Since I have terrible artistic sense, I was wondering if you had any ideas?
