Member video of the week 8/3/09

This week’s choice was obvious and very well fitting to be a member video of the week. This video features MANY members who gave their time and effort to wave a final peaceful farewell to our dear friend and fellow UU member CAPTAIN GOOGLE. Our hats off to SEESO for putting this whole thing together! 

Vincent Daniel Rooney recently passed away on July 6th 2009. He was a very active member of Ukulele Underground and was a always a positive personality among the boards for the short time that we’ve known him. His quirks, happy attitude, and love for pokemon will be remembered. Everyone has their own memory of this awesome fella. Let’s keep him alive in our memories and never forget the positive vibes that he always emitted.

    I joined UU about a week and a half after Captain’s passing. I noticed many members recognizing Captain Google, but I never knew who they were referring to. Now I do.

    What a touching and tastefully created tribute.

    Kudos to all who participated. It’s a classic!

    Than you all for sharing with the rest of us, so we can remember Vincent as well.
