Got a question about this exercise? Post it HERE.

Hello UUers! Recently there was some discussion on the Forum about which way to hold an ukulele. Normally we assign your dominant hand to be the strumming hand, but what about your other hand? Holding down notes and switching chords is important, too!

So in this week’s episode of Uke Minutes, Aldrine shows you a simple exercise to help strengthen your non-dominant hand and improve coordination with his patented, “Left Hand Exercise”. Try it out, work on keeping your fingers close to the fretboard, and if you have any questions, let us know!

Hope your weekend is beginning to look pretty dang awesome! Jump into it head first, bring along your uke, and be sure to tell us about it in the Forum!

Aloha,

That’s a lot harder than it looks when trying to keep your middle fingers close to the fretboard!
